This is a series of small, Austin-hosted gatherings for people working in market research, consumer insights, UX, and strategy who are in town for SXSW.The gatherings are hosted by insights professionals who live and work in Austin. They are meant to be activity-based and conversational, offering a calmer alternative to SXSW's pace.

Duration: Approximately 2.5–3 hours
Group size: 10–15
Cost: $85 per person
A small-group visit to Terry Black’s, one of Austin’s most consistently good BBQ spots.The host will manage timing and logistics so the group can focus on eating and talking. The experience is designed to feel relaxed and social rather than rushed.Food is included. Drinks, if any, are on your own.

An evening kayak on Lady Bird Lake at a pace that allows for conversation.
The group will meet near the launch point, get outfitted, and paddle together with views of downtown Austin. This is suitable for beginners and does not require prior kayaking experience.

The Little Longhorn Saloon, a tiny hole-in-the-wall honky-tonk off Burnet Road, has been hosting the event for over 40 years.To play bingo, you buy a ticket and hope the chicken literally poops on your ticket number. There’s always live music and cold beer.
